| So I haven't been able to right here for a while now. I no longer am able to get wireless internet and the internet at the Dream Center blocks xanga. I can get it in the cafe sometimes, but I don't go down there very often, so I won't be writing in here as much, as you can see.
Well, LA is still great. God is doing amazing things in the group. We've starting doing youth services about once a week for area churches. Those have been amazing. God is changing the hearts of many of the teens we go and do services for. We're taking the message that God is ready to pour out His Spirit for revival, but He's been waiting for a generation to step up and END THE WAIT. We're doing a big rally on May 6. We're doing our service at Angelus Temple for about 40 area youth groups. It's going to be awesome. I know that God will really move.
So I'm home right now for just a little bit. My uncle has a wedding in Kentucky, so I decided it would be a good time to come home and see the family for a little bit. It'll go too fast. I got home last evening and I'll be leaving again Tues. morning. But it will be good to be home for at least a little while.
| So life in Master's is getting pretty busy. I finished my third Bible class today, so that's a relief. But we're working hard to get ready for a lot of things that we have to get prepared for before next week. We have the kid's service on Saturday. Sunday morning we're leaving for Pheonix, Az for Pastor's School at Tommy Barnett's church. It's like a conference where thousands of pastors from all over the country come to get refreshed, encouraged, and better equipped to continue in their ministry. So Sunday night to open the conference, we're doing a human video in front of like seven thousand people, so that's an awesome opportunity. Then we're having the pastor's conference through like Wed, and then Thu. and Fri. is Masters Coference, where different Masters Commissions come from around the U.S. and the world to get poured into by different pastors. So after all that, on Friday night, we're doing our first church service. So we're preparing for all that the rest of this week. Fun times!! | | |
| Ok, so how's the part where I completely forgot that I even had xanga, and so have updated for like two weeks. I'm retarded, I know. So, yeah, I'm trying to think what happened the last couple of weeks. Two weeks ago, the National Foursquare Youth Leaders Convention was held at our chruch, and we got to be a part of that. It was youth leaders and just training them and encouraging them in youth ministry. It was really awesome. Honestly, I think it really did something for a group. I think a lot of us finally grasped the concept that "it's not about us." I know that probably everyone has heard it like a thousands times, but it's like it never really "clicked" or something. But let me tell ya, something powerful happens when it does. It changes the way you worship, your devotional time, how you listen to what God's telling you. It's pretty much amazing.
Last Sunday, our leaders surprised us by taking us on retreat in the mountians close to Yosemite park. It's about 6-7 hours away. It was just for a couple of nights, but it was awesome we really drew close together as a group and closer to God. I think it was good for all of us to get away for awhile, so here's some pics from that.
Jordan leading us in worship around a campfire
I don't know what I was doing there
Dawn and Lauraine. Looks kind of like an angel, hmmmm
Melissa and Michelle
Renee and Dan cooking some food
Heather and Alysha playing some euchre
So, yeah, that was fun. Then we had a fairly easy week last week. Mostly a lot of homework time since we were basically all behind. But I'm pretty much caught up now so that's good.
Well, there's an update for now. I'll try not to forget that I have a xanga site again.

| So, yeah, I think it's about time for an update, don't you? So I'm back in California. It's crazy. Christmas break was great, but it went way too fast. I had an awesome time hanging out with my family and friends back home. You guys are all awesome.
So, we get back and right away we have a ton of stuff to do. First of all, I'm way behind on school work, and we have our final a week from Friday. Second of all, we have to plan the Firehouse kids service for Saturday. That's crazy because I'm in two skits for that, and I'm playing guitar for worship team--that scares me, I've never played before so we'll see how that goes. Third of all, we found out the Masters is now working with the youth department to create the Saturday night youth service as well. So I'm also in an embarrassing skit for that, where I'll have to dance crazy in front of the entire Dream Center. So I can't wait for that to be over. Fourth of all, on Tuesday Masters has to perform a dance for a youth convention or something at the church. So we're having practice like every day before that to get ready. So, that's just for the next six days or so, so there's a lot of stuff to do around here.
But today, Jan. 4, is my birthday. I'm finally 20 years old. Out of my teens forever. It's crazy I tell you what. Live's going by pretty fast, and I'm told that it just gets faster. But it's all good. At least I know that I'm living my life serving the Lord because that's all that really matters. Well, everyone have a great night. Talk to you all later.
| All right, so here's the last entry that I'll have before I come home, which is pretty much TOMORROW!! This week went really fast. We practice for a human video that were doing this morning in church to the song Christmas Shoes by Newsong. Today we're having a miracle offering where we're believing that our offering today will be at least $300,000, and we're hoping for $500,000. So today should be awesome.
Wednesday night our leaders gave us a surprise Christmas party. It was awesome. They gave us all nice gifts that represented something about ourselves, and they made us good food. Friday and Saturday we had the Joy of Christmas productions again, but today is our last one. I'm looking forward to being done with that. It's good and everything, but it's just getting to be really long, having to wear all the make-up.
So, like I said I'm coming home tommorrow. I think my flight comes into Cleveland around 2:30pm. But I have to check to make sure. So, yeah, I look forward to seeing everyone back home. It's going to be an awesome time. And Masters, stay out of trouble. The freakin' devil gonna try to get you during break, but don't let him!! Stay focused on Jesus. I'm out.
